Sierra Leone in London friendly

Sierra Leone will play English League One side Leyton Orient in a friendly in London next month.

The game, scheduled for 7 May, will be played at Brisbane Road, the stadium of Orient.

The Leone Stars will use the match as part of their build-up towards their next Nations Cup qualifier against Togo in June.

"The Leone Stars coaches are keen to beat Togo to improve their chances of qualifying for the 2008 Nations Cup," game organiser Robert Mapp told BBC Sport.

"There are a lot of young players from that country who play in the lower leagues in England and they will also be given the opportunity to fight for a place in the national team."

Sierra Leone are bottom of Group Nine with one point after three matches.
