Libra Studio Emerges to Empower Sierra Leone's Music Industry

The Producer and Manager of Libra Studio, Gasimu Vandi aka Junior Coachy said he established his studio to empower the country's nascent music industry and to provide employment for youths after years of war and political instability. Libra Studio is situated at 8 Upper Hooke Street, Cassel Farm, Kissy via Milen Playing Field. The studio was commissioned last year to provide job opportunities for talented artists in the country. "Within this short time my studio has produced three artists: Baby K, Jazz B and Macca Dad. There are more artists in the pipeline," Junior Coachy said, adding that big musicians like Daddy B, Slim G and General Malabu are working on their albums at Libra Studio. Also the studio has two experienced engineers, George Wilbert and Moses who are specialized in different styles and beats. "I am assuring the public that Baby K's album will sell platinum," he promised.
