APC Biography | Koroma, representing the All People's Congress (APC), is the youngest of the candidates. He currently serves as the minority leader in parliament. During his tenure, the APC won nearly every seat in the Western Area in 2004 local elections. His background is in business and insurance. He was managing director of Reliance Insurance Trust Corporation from 1988 until the March 2002 elections. |

PMDC Biography | The son of Sierra Leone's second Prime Minister, Margai formed the People's Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC) following internal disputes in his previous party, the SLPP. A successful attorney, he led the defense of the 11 accused persons in a high-profile treason trial in 1987. He was elected president of the Sierra Leone Bar Association in 2004. |
