Freetown to be the cleanest capital in West Africa by 2020

The Administrative Director of  Saviour and Volunteers for the Environment, Mrs. Kuntumi Bangura has said that  SAVE/SL  will be embarking on a sensitization programme in Sierra Leone very soon  to create awareness amongst people on how to take care of the environment.

Speaking in a COCORIOKO.NET interview, Mrs. Bangura stated that   cleaning of the environment  will take campaign form through out the country to help eradicate improper disposal of water and other toxic waste in the environment.

The Coordinator of SAVE/SL, Mohamed Fofanah highlighted the objective on the organization.He told this newspaper that SAVE/SL  was founded to promote  a clean and healthy environment  throughout the country.

The Chair Lady SAVE/SL,  Ms. Sarieu Zubairu, promised that the organization  will make Freetown the cleanest city in West Africa by 2020. She said all that was needed was cooperation from the nation
