LEBANESE COMMUNITY IN SIERRA LEONE CALLS FOR CEASEFIRE Samir's letter dated 18th July 2006 sent through the UN representative in Sierra Leone, Victor J Angelo states: " The conflict between Lebanon and Israel has reached to such a height that hundreds of innocent lives including women and children have been lost, the entire infrastructure of Lebanon has been destroyed and life is so extremely dangerous that hundreds of thousands of people are now refugees fleeing for dare life. "Your excellency, as representatives of the entire Lebanese community in Sierra Leone, we are requesting through your goodself that the United Nations does it's utmost, and use whatever influence it has to ensure that a ceasefire is implemented with immediate effect."
