FREETOWN IS CRUMBLING: NO LIGHT, NO WATER, FUEL NOW IS Le. 13500

Many residents of Freetown, Sierra Leone's capital have expressed disgust at the current status quo with no light, no water and now no fuel. They see it as 'Freetown crumbling.' Discussions in 'Poda Podas,' taxis and other forms of transportation in the recent days have been centered on the very hot topics of non-availability of light, water and very recently, fuel. With regards electricity supply, many areas of Freetown have been in blackout for the past months. In the East End of Freetown, the availability of electricity has been not a necessity, but a luxury.
